Having kids is a choice.

But so many people tend to forget that and think a family is not complete until you have had children. And even when you decide that it is your life and you are going to stop listening to people who are forcing you down this path. You have people degrading you at every turn to look forward to. I am well aware that times are changing and some parents don’t do this but the majority of parents do want to become Grandparents and think forcing the stress of becoming a parent onto their child is a perfectly normal thing to do.

Now I am not saying having kids is bad. But it should always be a choice. Many people want kids and that is great. So those who do not want them should be given the same respect as well. Several people think a women’s success can only be measured if she has ‘settled down’ with kids at an ‘appropriate’ age. And there are those who think you are too young to understand why having kids is necessary but not too young to actually take care of the huge responsibility.

So that is why today we have some memes that perfectly encapsulate what being child-free is all about.
